-In Ayurveda, a number of natural herbs and medicines have been found to control seizure. For an epilepsy patient, the management of epilepsy plays a vital role in seizure control. There are many ways to manage epilepsy or to control the seizure. Here we will mention the common and most useful ones.
- Old pure desi ghee one teaspoon full in the morning and evening for at least six months
- Fresh juice of Brahmi with honey 1 teaspoon daily will remove epilepsy
- Garlic juice in oil
- The powdered root of wild asparagus with milk is very useful in epilepsy
Avoiding Things # Management of Epilepsy
As per Ayurveda, one can manage epilepsy by avoiding certain things. Below mentioned are some of the activity that an epilepsy patient must not do.
- Avoid shining, fast moving or rotating objects
- Do not climb hills or tree
- Do not eat too much oily food
- Avoid having more sweets
- Do not drink alcohol
- Avoid eating too much red meat
- Control your sexual desires
